The italian guitarist Sante Tursi, winner of the 33rd Tokyo International Guitar Competition, performs Castelnuovo-Tedesco's Guitar Concerto op.99 with the Cluj Philharmonic (Romania); conductor Jochen Wehner. 2005 www.santetursi.it
Yep, i was talking with my teacher about that and he said that Segovia went to a lot of composers telling them to write for guitar.. and for the non-guitar part, he transcripted them all.
I'm playing this for a young artist competetion in spokane, WA. Great work done here. interesting ending however, much more subtle...thoroughly enjoyed the work Mr. Tursi! Sounds amazing.
Great performance! Has he had it recorded on CD?
