It's no coincidence the two MCs knew how to bust out some improv. And I do mean MCs.
Nas clearly told Colbie to jump in the mix. Otherwise she wouldn't have done it. The mic wasn't even in position for her to sing.
Nas - "Hey Colbie, jump in and sing the hook...it'll be dope, trust me".
Colbie - "I should huh".
Nas - "I told you it'd be dope".
Colbie - "Word".
After she got the pass, she even rocked a lil' hand style.
