yeah the vocal did stand out a bit...I actually thought that maybe you were using a compressor across the mix and thats what kept pulling the volume of the guitar back when you sang....but it still sounds good to me my friend

Thanks Kev, yes. I set the Rode Video mic fairly close to the main speakers and went for it. I thought the vocal was a bit dominant in the mix ,but still decided to put it out. Thanks again.

Yes, good one, nicely played and sung. I also liked the results you got here. Nicely done overall. btway..are you getting the bass tones you want by micing up nearer the amp (or at least better?).

Thanks Ian. Yes I put the Rode Stereo Video mic about a foot away from the main speakers. It still hasn't picked up as much bass as I had in the room but I am personally happier with it. I'm learning a lot as I'm going, so when I do feel I've sorted it I'll let you know how if you wish.
