  • This clip is what I love most about British Television. In the USA, actors could never talk like this. We as americans have become very PC.

  • That'll be referring to Guy's status as having passed his MRCS, thus meaning he's referred to as Mr rather than Dr. In surgical circles that's "one above" doctor. So no blooper there, just good research.

  • thumbs up if you like Green Wing - Do you want to have sex with me?

  • I think I will drop this line into my next conversation.

  • Bahahahahahah! x'D roflmfao!

  • There's a slight nod of her head right after she says "One above Doctor, how about that yeah" which just looks she's thinking "Touché the balls in your court, let's see you reply to THAT!".........Classic!!

  • this scene was apparently all improvised!

  • @houlford The FRCA is well known to be the hardest advanced level exam, one of the reasons anaesthetists don't need to bother themselves with 'Mr' titles. I didn't say they don't take MRCS just in my experience they take an MRCP or just the FRCA (later on). No need to get sniffy!

  • @agrigoat Actually, Mugville, anaesthetists do not have to take MRCP and rarely do. They have their own exams. They are not physicians, they are anaesthetists or intensivists (a subspeciality within its own right). Many anaesthetists have done the MRCS (the *only* way to revert to "Mr") and thus Guy is clearly one of those.
