Did you hear about the Cathay Pacific that lost control over both engines? It had to make an emergency landing, I believe it just happened...
Not to question the safety of the A330, but there sure has been a lot of problems with them lately, I've just flown on one not so long ago myself, on Air Canada from Frankfurt to Toronto. There was a broken extension of the flap (part of a flap had malfunctioned) but apparently it wasn't serious enough for an emergency landing. Still very scary.

Yes, I'm aware of the incident. You can watch my other A330 takeoff video - that was the aircraft involved (B-HLL).
