I like the original version by The Chords better! This live version is alright. The Crew Cuts version I heard doesn't sound as authentic or soulful as the original 50s recording...IMHO

I'm not going to get into a debate about "whitening the black man's music". This particular video is pretty damn good; I've seen an earlier video in which there was no rhythm, no beat, no "soul". That was what I was basing my comments on.
