    I remember When I was doing time in Folsom Prison I was in building 5...there was this old timer who would play a guitar and play this song ....In the mini yard ....

    Eleven months earlier on May 25th, 1968 it entered Billboard's Hot Top 100 chart; eventually it peaked at #32 and spent 12 weeks on the Top 100...

    The song was originally released in 1955 as the B-side of "So Doggone Lonesome", which reached #4 on Billboard's Hot Country Singles chart...

    R.I.P. Mr. Cash {1932 - 2003} and may God bless Mr. Campbell...
