Parker was NEVER a top 5 HW fighter. Ever. Oh, he fought top fighters when he occasionally played, but absolutely nobody can legitimately say he was a force for a decade. Top 5 guys spend their career on the bench and in the box, NOT the minors.

parker was a tough customer
-
bertuzzi has been a joke his whole career

@Br3nd3n14 Rypien is a great fighter for his size. The issue is that Parker has about half a foot on him....and at least 40 pounds (depending on the time). They are in a different weight class in my opinion. Parker's size would beat Rick, at least thats the way I see it.

@3OH3Fulham i think rick rypien could fight this guy
-
@Br3nd3n14 I don't follow
-
@garfieldhead what about rick rypien?

@paclives692002 Stu Grimson, Krzysztof Oliwa, Donald Brashear, Georges Laraque, Zdeno Chara, Jody Shelley, Chris Simon, Krzysztof Oliwa, George Parros, D.J. King, Eric Godard.
All beaten by Scott Parker. Given your responses, I'm not expecting an intelligent reply from you. But you can try after you ask your "sports writers" friends who half of the hockey players listed above are.
Just because YOU are ill informed about a player, doesn't mean that that player was "never heard from again"
-
@paclives692002 You are beyond saving my friend...

@3OH3Fulham no, i have literally talked to sports writers who didnt know he was in the league "9 more seasons" either, so calm down there... I may not know about abscure shitty avs players, but im pretty sure i can hold my own with you or anyone on the substance of hockey, not just opinion based, like who's the toughest... thats all this is, opinion, you think he was top 5 HW after Probert exposed him, so now who "knows nothing about the game"?
He jumped off the bench and hid behind the officials.....Todd wanted to try to get in the scrum but would never square off man to man with Parker. Now if Parker had his back to Bertuzzi then we all Todd can do damage..........Do you need that history lesson?

It's fairly obvious he jumped the boards because he knew Jovanovski would get his ass kicked and this is Todd's way of showing he's a "tough guy" (Which apparently means doing something dumb for no reason. He IS really good at that, but that's not a good thing) But Todd most certainly didn't "want a piece" of Scott. He's borderline retarded, but I doubt Bertuzzi thinks he can square off with Parker successfully
