In a weird way, it kind of makes sense that Mario would buy himself his own private island. What else was he going to spend the coins from all those other adventures on?

This is a pretty enjoyable game. I like the way Mario handles and the overall game design.

Also that is an angry-ass hill in the background of that miscellaneous level.

@IronTorch20 maybe it's the hill that got hit by Ludwig's rocket-castle in SMW and it had to buy a crappy hairpiece to cover the booboo.

What came after this? Super Mario Bros. 3 or E.V.O.? I would guess SMB3, since it was also recorded with a camera and then EVO was post-commentated. :P I discovered you via EVO!

absolutely love this game. Also my favorite boss is the three pigs. also I'd like to see if you know a good way to beat the spaceship boss in the moon levels. I never had a good strategy for that guy.

You were correct, RTW. Mario and Wario are cousin's. It's a shame that Wario was only used once as a rival for Mario. It would be nice if Nintendo would switch things up now and then, instead of just using Bowser as the final boss every single time.

I always loved this game. It was one of the first games I got for my Gameboy. I just enjoyed how unique all the enemies were and how the story wasn't just "save Peach from Bowser" like pretty much every other Mario game.
