I agree it was a sad day. I wasn't there personally, but my brother was there, and my father was the passenger/copilot on that fateful belly landing. To add a little interest to the story, Dave Curry and my father did an extremely similar landing in (I think it was) a Canberra more than 30 years previous in Rhodesia!. I don't those men should fly together again...

a sad day i had been at ymbc airport the day when hunter came to land and the gear failed she's still sitting in the hanger. I dont think we'll see her flying again
