This video shows the preparations and the test launch of one of the world's largest amateur-built liquid rocket engines. We present a unique insight into the way we work at Copenhagen Suborbitals before, during, and after a static rocket engine test that took place on May 20, 2012.
We participate in all aspects of the preparations from the construction of the test stand and the safety bunker, welding and mounting of the oxygen and alcohol tanks, mounting of the rocket engine, the launch itself, and the crunching of data collected during the test.

    They must have put a lot of effort into additionally capturing all this footage of the preparations for it and giving you so much information about it. It doesn't seem very nice to just skip all of it.

    I hope you guys find a way to stick to nitrogen pressure though, with helium getting more scarce (expensive) every year it'd be a waste to pump it through a rocket.

    Also a Dane; also noticed it. I wish they'd proofread their stuff better. Their blog posts have more than their fair share of grammatical errors and typos too. And I'm pretty sure Kristian von Bengtson's title in the video is supposed to be "spacecraft lead" and not "lead spacecraft". I know they want to send a man into space, but I doubt they mean that a man will be their spacecraft :-P
