After feeling "violated" by the harley dealer..I found my new big girl bike. Honda Spirt 750. This is a short story of my first day with my new bike. My camera angle is off a little, but had to share my happiness : )

  • Congratulations on getting your big girl bike! I totally hear ya about the HD dealers, they want 12,000 for a 883 Sportster when it lists for 7,000-8,000! I'm in the process of fixing up a 94 Honda Shadow 600 and will see how that goes for me. If I can fix it up to look nice and run well, it may be my starter and big girl bike!

  • @renrennaka03 I just saw your video... it's exciting isn't it : ) I hope you get it up and running soon..

  • Congrats! Glad you like it.

  • @glshearerjr thank you gary, I do like it ... a lot.. it's really fun to ride...I just wish i could find a cool solo seat for it.. can't seam to find anything.. I suppose i will have to have some one make one.. anyway thanks

  • Congrats on the new ride! Honda makes some of the best bikes out there.

Just wondering what happened to you at the Harley dealer and which one you went to. I'm sure other would want to know too. We all need to know which 'stealer' to stay away from or at least go in with our eye open to it.

Enjoy you ride, See you on the road, and as always...Ride safe!

  • @06Nightrain I am not one to haggle.. i'm a str8 shooter.. the bob listed for 12,999 the wanted 15,099 just for the bike then almost another grand for all the charges that included. dock fees, handling fees, fees for putting the thing together, then for the pipes and a lowering kit to put them on they wanted 1900. so the ending price was 19 grand with a 1800 down and still having a 380 monthly payment. the honda listed for 6999 and i walked out with 0 down and 7098 financed. good choice

  • Please be careful, when you re riding on street with parallel parked cars, be slow , they can open doors and out you go. Check out some accidents on you tube, it will scare you but also make you more careful. Motor cycles are VERY dangerous and not just fun bikes. People turning left in opposite lanes. grandmas/grandpas entering rods from neighborhoods, people changing lanes in your lane. So watch out, be careful, evaluate the roads every second. In fact in beginning, jot down your path on maps.

  • @renrennaka03 Sporster should cost you no more than 8500 all inclusive...when you get a fat bob or those dynas you got to get the pipes and EFI changed due to over heating. I bought a Triumph America instead of a HD. I am unique now.

  • Go Honda's!!

  • @renrennaka03 HD dealers around your area suck then, im in northern VA (DC Metro area) and bikes are right at MSRP, 883's there are all under 9G and 1200's are all under 11G, its when you choose options on the bikes it costs a lot.

  • 2009 honda spirit

  • why would u want a motorcycle? that how most people die...get a bmw and be safe!!!!

  • YOUR A BIG GIRL NOW LOL

  • oh wow!! That is one sweeet bike!!! :D Congratulations :D xx

  • You sounded so excited..and rightly soooooooooooo

    Enjoy your new bike !!!

  • What HD Dealer was this that made you feel violated. Thanks! Appreciate it!
