I think he´s one of the most important artist in the twntieth century. Seriously. A real artist, who made what he wishes and think that his creativity comes from God, as said by his wife.

Big Daddy is GOD
My son and I met Big Daddy at a car show in Indy. My son idolized Roth and his work. A year later my son was having trouble in school and I dropped Big Daddy a note with some of my son's drawings and let Roth know this was a kid in trouble and would he please send along a word of encouragement.
Two weeks later we got a note in the mail from Utah and it read:
'Dear Walker,
Drop out of school and buy a Harley.
Big Daddy'
I laughed til I cried........

About 7 years ago, a Chicago Newspaper ran a big full page story about Big Daddy. In the interview, he told how he had become a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints(Mormons). Since I am a LDS member myself, I wrote him telling him how much I liked his models when I was growing up. I especially liked the "Rat Fink" character. He actually wrote a short note back to me. I regard him as an one of the most influential artists of our time. Thankyou and Peace, Brother Roth.
