Rod Stewart had tone....This guy shouldn't be singing basically. Its painful. He obviously never learned how to use his voice....Doesn't understand how to sing. Last time on this...so hit me with the hates. I don't care.

@gnarlyincubus Maybe because they're afraid Pia's gonna bore the audience to death if she sings those old stuff while Paul's just gonna be awesome even if he sings a damn old song a thousand times...

I have LOVED Paul's voice since I saw him for the first time on American Idol. His voice is so divine and unique. His personality is just a bonus! I knew he didn't need to win American Idol. He would have made it regardless! Thank you Paul, for believing in yourself and blessing us with your voice! I love you!

He kinda reminds me of Rod Stewart. I'm a huge fan of his voice and maybe american idol wasn't for him. If he was around in the 80s he would've been much more popular.
