Back in the early 90's during my art degree I was involved with putting on an experimental music night called The Milk Laboratory at Sheffield Hallam University (in Bar 2 where Pulp and Human League first played!).
We did super8 loops, projected oscilloscopes and video, light pieces, and played Aphex Twin, Warp electronica and Throbbing Gristle (my first DJ slot was there!)
So here are the edited 'highlights' of the video visuals I projected, and some of the music I created (as Reality Engine) mixed with others as we were all part of the Nether Edge Music Collective.
Credits are in part 2 but here they are in text form:
Video: Tim Baker
Super 8: Steve Cornell
Sound: Tim Baker, Paddy Collins, Sean Reynard, Mark Hadley
