This song is about suicide... Simba is asking 'why' Kiara had to leave and committee suicide. Kiara was not happy in her life, and she decides to leave and burns pride rock, and thats when she committed suicide. So Simba keeps getting memories of his daughter of all the fun times he, and his daughter had before she was sad and committed suicide.
