In September 2011 we got a hold of two permits to hike Half Dome - 8,836 ft (2,693 m) in Yosemite National Park, CA. We hiked along mist trail passing beautiful Vernal and Nevada Falls and then used the cables to make it to the top of Half Dome. It was a one looooong day but an awesome adventure.
