BENQ/Lite-On Xbox 360 Noisy DVD Drive Repair Video

This was only a temporoary repair, the main problem is the electric motor, the only way to get rid of the buzzing is to replace it.

Anybody with a noisy xbox 360 should watch this if they
want to repair their noisy drive. This method worked perfectly for me, I am without a video editor right now so i am just going to upload the raw video. Basically its the
DVD player disc holding piece that is rubbing against the case. Normally this piece is plastic to prevent noise but on a benq drive its metal. I used chrome tape around where it scrapes to prevent anymore noise or rubbing. There is no longer any noise coming from my xbox when i play. Thanks for watching, fire me comments if you need help.

@bikercc i sent mi xbox in to microsoft for the disc read error and the noise do u think microsoft will replace the dvd drive ? btw i have the slim xbox

I opened up my DVD drive, sprayed the interior with compressed air, and cleaned up the magnet. It's now back to the stock 360 levels of noise.

My electronic motor that spins the disk makes a clicking sound and wont even turn i was wondering if its possible to fix but i doubt it
