I used to ride this elevator on a regular basis when I lived in this building. Enjoy!

  • This TOTALLY beats the purpose of the restrictions on the Dover elevator in the building.

  • @kwag4 Exactly. Glad to know that I wasn't the only person to notice this. I brought it to management's attention when I lived there, and even presented an idea on how to fix that, which they weren't interested in pursuing. :(

  • @jimster586 so is the dover one locked off completely?

  • @dieselducy Yes, except for the first floor.

  • @jimster586 What did u propose to management?

  • @dieselducy I proposed that they remove the buttons for 3-5, and replace them with key switches like they did for the second floor. I suggested using a different key for 3-5, just like on the Dover.

  • @jimster586 Cool. I like the motor sound.

  • @LittleRockElevators The building was built in the 1920's, and i"m thinking that this may be original to the building. The cab and fixtures are similar to the Haughton in Todd Union, that was installed in 1930. I think that the hall fixtures were added @ a later point.

  • Very nice elevator. When was this installed?

  • AWESOME motor sound!!!
