Great video and very eloquently put. And I completely agree. Religion has always been, and is a continuing threat to the very survival of our species. Religion combined with modern weapons of mass destruction is a very frightening combination. I blogged this on my website.

@onthemoveagain Then why don't you kill yourself? That is the #1 stupidest opinion ever.

"May the circle be unbroken,
by and by, Lord, by and by,
There's a banner all the way
in the sky, Lord, in the sky."

@Babyboomer92 Yeah but the great thing about life extension technology is that you have the choice to die whenever you want. Plus even if there is a way to stop the aging process of not only ourself, but our universe you still wouldn't live forever because something will happen eventually. I leave it up to individual choice.

Here's hoping there will be no 'descendants'-the human race overall is the worst thing that ever happened to probably the entire universe.
Dear EZ --
I wonder about people like you ... did you somehow avoid indoctrination (have liberated parents)? ... Or was indoctrination attempted but didn't stick? ... Or were you indoctrinated but fought through it? I'm a mix of the latter two. Anyway, you got here ... and I am pleased that you did. Thank you for your understanding words.

I understand that having humanity work towards the goal of infinite existence by way of an infinite progression of descendants could lead to greater morality in mankind through realistic goals (unlike the fantasies found in our so called religious books). Nevertheless, Hartung is simply displaying an evolved imperative: live! His "meaning of life" is thus no more "Meaningful" than the fantasy of heaven, it is simply a reflexion of the biological imperative.

"Greater morality in mankind through realistic goals" is "no more 'Meaningful' than the fantasy of heaven"?
Seems wrong to me.

I'm very impressed with your way of thinking and your brutal honesty. I'm going to check out your website (love the other YouTube videos I've seen you on).

Thank you.
Every once in awhile I play the lottery ... hoping to win enough to buy the time to devote all of my time to these more important matters.
I wish both of us the best of luck!
