I am SO glad that, unlike the books, they kept Lafayette alive and fabulous in the TV series. Nelsan Ellis OWNS this character in so many ways, and to this day I still cannot get over how beautiful his eyes are! He has tremendous charisma and screen presence, and I look forward to seeing more of him in the show!
