Site of Ancient Jewish Temple is Epicenter of Conflict

Israel's continued settlement of East Jerusalem is a source of tension with the Palestinians. But perhaps even more contentious was the re-dedication this month of a synagogue in East Jerusalem that sparked clashes between Palestinians and Israelis. The synagogue, destroyed by Jordan in 1948, is not far from the compound known to Muslims as the Noble Sanctuary and to Jews as the Temple Mount. It was the site of the Second Temple built by King Herod during Roman times. Palestinian leaders claim the rebuilding of the synagogue signals the start of an attack on the al-Aqsa Mosque, in the compound, to make way for construction of the Third Temple. VOA Jerusalem correspondent Luis Ramirez reports.

It has recently been discovered that the mosque is not built on the stone/rock and was not built over the original temple. The land for which the temple should be built is near the mosque. Many people do not realize this yet. Temple builders know this land is free and clear -- they own the land!! But yet they ignore this Holy land and focus on the mosque?! Maybe there is a mafia cover up for war profit or use this conflict to move toward NWO or fund fraud. Their pride is their fall.

The Temple should be there according to me, not because of religious beliefs, but historical. That eyesore that is gazing into the dicease that is called Islam should be destroyed, and should have been in 1967. Or even better, since the moslems have the Temple grounds, invade friggin Mecka and build a Synagogue or a even greater temple on that site. Then ask them which of the holy symbols should be kept Islamic, and which should be Judean.
