Video bumpers aren't view whores- people who make 19 videos in a day are view whores. True story. This one dude uploaded 19+ videos on Valentine's Day...all response videos to viral videos and successful Youtubers like iJustine, Michelle Phan, Smosh, and others. I feel sorry for his subscribers because their boxes got flooded by this loser.

@ROBwithaB Not only that but false thumbnails misleading titles and such generate a huge amount of views just look up Strippin' it's absolute garbage but has 4.5 million views regardless. There are a lot of people that feel the same way about this. particularly a small group centered around users Archfiend and Cammehyabams

And getting people to thumb a video and to comment on it are obviously advantageous to you somehow, otherwise partners wouldn't spend half their time begging people to do it.
The truth is that there is a lot of really engaging and entertaining content out there. Made by YouTubers who are NOT partners. Who are NOT cheating the system. Whose subscribers actually WANT to watch their videos, but never get the chance, because crap content gets "bumped" in front of it.
