Another unused Lizzy track that was recorded at Goodearth Studio on 2/1/1978. This one ended up on Gary Moore's solo album "Back on the Streets". This version, however, is sung by Lynott, rather than Moore.

  • I wonder who stole the photo I took to put up with this song???

  • @seanandben

I don't know, but every picture I used, I found on Google images.

  • Gary Moore does a version of this track, not sure who's track it is, Lynott or Moore?

  • I think they are co-authors. Lynott sings background vocals on Moore's version.

  • Why oh why oh why wasn't this demo remastered and put on the 2nd cd of the new Black Rose album reissue, which features other demos from the same sessions. This one and the demo for 'Are You Ready' were the best 2 of the session and they're not on the reissue. Dumb fuckers.

  • I hope they release a Deluxe Editon of Black Rose with all the Black Rose Sessions

  • this song was recorded in 1979...same year margret tatcher was elected....coincidence? :L

  • @blacksabfan it's possible phil wrote it for gary, and that's why there is this version which phil singing it himself, as a guide vocal or something..

  • @blacksabfan I remember Phil once saying in an interview that his heart lies to the left and his his pocket lies to the right.

  • i love this version!

  • That's a man who lived and died before his time.

  • another catchy tune, i'd want to hear it metalized on t&l or black rose either way's fine
