SECRET: on the Stop & Go station, go left right away and you can skip all the way to the last part of the level.

I am glad I got these memories fresh because I just got the super nintendo with this game just a few months ago. And I am 14 so I sort of missed out when it came out. When i first got this, I did not expect this to be my favorite game of all time, but when I did, it was just too much fun, how much the levels evolve over time is just amazing for a 16 bit game. and of course the graphics and the music and the gameplay are absolutley brilliant. To make it even better, my parents played this game-

@GamerNinjaX I too missed out on this, I was born in '94, which was around when this game came out, so yeah. I played this for the first time around '99 or early 2000 on a real SNES, and I loved it. Later I played this again in '07 and completed it for the first time.

and that is just awesome that I have people to agree with me on how good this game really is.

that last enemy is a real bitch to get through on the minecart level. I have to disagree with you on one thing, the save points being stretched, to me, is very balaced. and besides, whenever you beat a level after the save point you can just go back and save. and sometimes funky kong can give you a lift back to another world so you can save. the only place where I can agree with you is the factory world. It took me a looong time too beat that world.
