I had the same problem with a GS 350 lexus. the dealer never fixed insted I went to auto zone and buy these pads that have like fabric on the back insted of the regular metal shims. And that took care of it it cost me $144.00 front and back.

I have the exact same problem with my VW Jetta, did you know what was going on?? or does anyone know where its coming from and how to fix it?????????????? HELP

This is a easy fix. all you need is about a hour time, jack up the car remove tire, 14mm reanch needed to remove brake claper. remove pads and get special ceramic brake grease ( at any auto parts house for 1.00) apply grease to BACK side of the pads, around the rubber boot in the claper and any top and bottom of the pad where metal touches metal.DO NOT PUT ANY GREASE ON THE PAD OR ROTOR ITSELF. very easy and cheap I had this same problem on my new camery after replacing my pads.

air in the brake fluid.

Ok my Mazda 3 started doing something like this just after I had the brakes on in rush hour traffic. They replaced everthing.
What was happening with your car? Did you find out?

Yeah it still kinda does it but I think it's mostly just light brake rust from moisture
