Brilliant pale golden hue. Pours with a foamy white head. Zesty aromas have a pale malt accent with a frothy and notably dry palate that finishes with a trace of hop bitters.
It's an awesome beer and they sell it all over here in New Jersey at most larger "wine stores". It's awesome, I'm going to try the original now. Thanks for the review!
I'm sold. I really enjoyed the hefes while stationed in Germany. Your video prompted me to search for this "bier" here in Alabama... and I think that I have found a store that sells it. Can't wait to try it.
First of all, you need to pour it into a hefe glass, not a tulip. Secondly, you're missing the best part at the bottom of the bottle. You need to swirl the yeast sediment left in the bottle. That is what clouds up the beer, giving it its unique hefe color and flavor. All good hefeweisse has that at the bottom. Your missing out on the best part.
This is one of the BEST BEERS I have EVER tasted. I tried it for the first time in the Bowling Alley at SAM'S TOWN Casino in VEGAS!! a bowling alley in Vegas people!!!! Woo hoo!! Holy Sh*t!! it was GOOOOOD!!! =)
A good, honest review. I just finished a Weihenstephaner Original Premium. I'm no beer conessuire, but it makes Coors Light taste like rubbing alcohol. Problem is, I cannot find a local liquor store in MN that sells the brand. The only time I can get it is when a friend drives up from Ames, IA. I definitely need to try the Hefe Weissbier as I've seen it reviewed as a B+ to -A on every site I've visited.
haha you nailed the pronunciation although you where slightly unsure, kudos to you my friend. I havent seen any of your reviews for some reason, and im guessing youve never seen any of mine, check out my weihenstephaner review, and keep up the good stuff.
hey! it seems like you´ve enjoyed that one! i´m studying in weihenstephan. the university there is a part of the technical university in munich. the general issues there are food and environment sciences, also biology and chemistry. and i am studying - guess what - brewery and general beverage technology - engineering. i like that beer also very much!
