Born on 25 September 1940 in Coffeyville (Kansas), he died of cancer the 13 October 1993 at the age of 53 years.
I found only from him a 10th position on the Billboard rhythm and blues chart with "Easy lovin" and a 18th position with "Here I stand"(1958). Also a good popcorn rhythm is "Keep on loving me"(1961).

  • After nearly 60 years, this song still gives me goosebumps- it's one of a kind.

Thanks Wade Flemmons and Loupi52! I ordered this record C.O D. from Ernie's Record Mart in Nashville in 1958. Uh singin' la te lat- love you so-u-o-o-la te lat- - - Oh man!

Put this record in my casket.

  • I grew up in the 60s, love oldies, but never ever heard this amazing song until a year or 2 ago. Fantastic song, how was this not a huge hit?

  • Don't think that I can add words of praise that top previous writings. It is a fabulous record.

  • One of the great songs of early rock 'n' roll that virtually was unplayed and undersold. I could listen to it a thousand times and never get tired of it.

  • Wade Flemons was my neighbor in Inkster Michigan. But I Only saw him about 7 or 8 times. Why ? Because he was always in his basement creating beautiful music on his piano filling the air with beautiful music .It was rare that he mingled with the neighbors he seemed to be more interested with his music . But isn't that the way of a genius .
