@undercoverngel The UN is nothing short of a global beauracracy. They make goals that they have no intention to keep and have failed at almost every thing. They did a great job in Rwanda, the democratic republic of Congo, Darfur, Bosnia and Yugoslavia. Second Omar Khadr is not a child soldier. Al Qaeda is not a formal military force, but rather a terrorist organization. There for the traditional Geneva Conventions do not apply to him because he is not a uniformed soldier of any recognized nation

@MisterSoloDolo96 Please re read my comment. His Dad was an Al Qaeda sympathizer. Khadr was friends with the Bin Laden children. Second, even though 18 is the LEGAL age one is considered an adult in WESTERN countries, other places have different opinions. In many countries you are considered a adult at Khadr's age. Thirdly, the word child is not appropriate. The vast majority of males at the age of 15 have the physical ability to fight on a battle field. Fourthly, you can join the reserves at 16

Now look up Bowe Bergdahl, our brave American soldier who was kidnapped by Taliban and missing. He's hidden, denied medical treatment and most likely brutally tortured or killed, Just like Gilad Shalit the courageous Israeli soldier, kidnapped by Hamas and denied Medical per the Geneva accords.

I know who Omar Khadr is. In October 2010 he pleaded guilty to the five charges against him as part of a plea agreement with military commission prosecutors. He was captured on July 27, 2002 by American forces at the age of 15 following a four-hour firefight. Khadr had "extensive firsthand knowledge" of his father's supportive role in Al Qaeda operations. Khadr's mother also wished to raise her family outside of Canada due to her animosity toward Western social influences,
