Easy Macromedia Flash Color Fading Tutorial in 9 Easy Steps

Even dummies could understand this!

1. Make a new flash document
2. Change the Frames-Per-Second to 20
3. Draw anything on the canvas (white space) in black
4. Go to a distant frame (eg. 20) and press F6 (Insert Keyframe)
5. While the new keyframe's image is still selected, choose a new color (something brighter than the previous color)
6. Do steps 3-5 until you get to frame 100 (or when you get to white)
7. Select all the frames, go to the Properties panel and choose "Shape" from the "tween" drop down menu
8. Select all the frames, copy, and paste after the 100th frame
******IMPORTANT VVVVVV******
9. This step I forgot to include in the video. Now Select all the frames you've just pasted and Right Click, Reverse Frames. Then move them across 20 frames (now you're up to frame 220).
******End of IMPORTANT******

Now your END RESULT should look better than mine because I forgot to do step 9.

how do u change frames per second?

How can i only change fps on one frame? its doing it throught the entire clip not just 1 frame that i selected

You can't. That's why it's 'FRAMES per second'. Emphasis on the frames.

Ah, okay. But on XefPatterson's tha cliff 3 i think in one point everything was goin slower at one point. Thats what lead me to believe you could do that, But, can you make it slower in one spot by adding blank frames?

To make parts slower, you distance the frames more like this:

x = blank, y = active

y-xxxxx-y-xxxxxxxxxx-y-xxxxxxx­xxxxxxxxxxxxx-y

It gradually gets slower
