HBO 1983 Intro (HBO)

WOW this is along time ago. I was only 5 when I got my first color tv. I remember getting HBO on channel 6 when I lived in Harlem

This was and always will be one of the all-time greatest movie intro sequences of all time. Look at all the artistry that went into this. The use of green screen, the camera techniques, the tiny scale model town with moving cars, and early 3D! As a kid in the early 90's, I remember they still played this intro occasionally. So great. It really made you feel like watching a movie on TV was an event.

wow. i haven't seen this intro in forever. i was about five when i first saw this. this is awesome. hbo really needs to bring this back from time to time, just for nostalgia purposes

Howard the Duck, and that other movie...Jeez, I remember a van with a big rat on top of it. Wish I could remember the name of that movie.

No Shit!!! This is great, I was 3 or 4 back when this aired. Even back then I stayed up on late night benders. This is great.

Amazing thing, I thought about this for some reason earlier in the day and I said I bet I could find this on youtube. Youtube really does have everything.

The city bus is the part that I distinctly remember, The music I forgot all about so that was great.
