  • @reyMysterioFanify Arianos was the philosofer who wrote about Macedonia....read his book...if you can read it then you are macedonian....but you must read it as it was...written in Greek....

  • I cant believe how my people still believe that Alexander was ours. I am from Fyrom or Macedonia and i feel as though this is completly humiliating to my people. The weapons had greek names and his generals were greek so how could they be from my country or Albania for that matter its more then obvious at this point and i hate when they talk about a "United Macedonia" something that will never happen. I have visited historical sights and the facts are everywhere. O Meyas Alexandros was Greek.

  • In the past, some Greek philosophers wrote stories for children, with unrealistic figures and facts, of the same story of a Greek historians wrote history today with that unreal facts in hoolywood make movies and cartoons for children,1912 in Bukurest with the help of the great powers Greeks took part of Macedonia, but they can not take our genes our genes one day will be irrefutable fact for our world

  • Pela-place where Aleksander was born is now Greece, but before 1918 was Macedonian country-now u call BJRM,Aleksander is Macedonian not Greek,Greece wasn't country in those time...

  • alexander the gay did fight larger army more likely 3 to 1, not 6 to 1 as they say.

but the persian army was usless, they were not professnal like the macedonian. alexander was a good commander, but darius of persia was not, he was a weak leader, and the persian empire was declining. if hannibal barca existed at that time he would have defeated alexander the gay.

  • @Irukandji78 Are you retarded ? I'm not a fucking Macedonian. My origins are swiss, english and germanic. Hell, I even have french origins from the revolution (nobles that fled to england). I have no origins from either ancient nor modern Macedonia. I don't even give a shit about them. I don't care about you're little "who has the greatest history" contest.

  • @ivanlagrossemoule Why it would be? You people claim to be the Macedonian tribe and yet you are a Slav tribe that came to the area around 600 AD. You wanna tell me thats it is not relevant the fact that you have nothing in common with the Macedonians and yet you claim the name and history?

  • @ivanlagrossemoule Just to prove you that they Greeks did not consider them barbarian : Macedonians could enter the Olympic Games. Non Greeks could NOT. And that was long time before Demosthenes speech for the Macedonians. You need to read more sources besides the one your stupid and dangerous government is telling you. Dont read the Greek since we ''lie'' . Read the Roman.

  • @ivanlagrossemoule You are ignorant and brainwashed. Macedonia was a part of Greece.

You are taking a political dispute of Demosthenes(or Athenians) vs the Macedonians to another level. Yes at some point they had arguments and ever war. That does not make them less Greek that the Spartans or any other Greek tribe.

  • @Irukandji78 If you want to argue about the modern Greece and Macedonia, and who the descendants of Alexander are, you're talking to the wrong person.

But why would it be relevant anyway ?

  • @Irukandji78 I'll explain myself again. I do not care about who the descendants of Alexander are. I'm not from Macedonia either. I've never even been there.

But when I say Macedonia and Greece, I'm talking about both "countries" (I know Greece wasn't a country) of the time.

The greeks considered the macedonians as barbarians, though they were quite close. If the greeks themselves didn't consider the macedonians as greeks, I think that's enough to say they weren't actual greeks.

  • @ivanlagrossemoule I have a question for you. What criteria you have for a ''tribe/race'' to be under the same nation. How do you say that these people are X and the others are Y. Or how do you match X with X ? Under what criteria?
