Such a sad and beautiful song, all the more haunting when you know it was written for Jonathan Melvoin, who toured with The Smashing Pumpkins as their keyboardist on the Mellon Collie tour and died of a heroin overdose. "oh beautiful release memories seep from my veins let me be empty and weightless and maybe I'll find some peace tonight."
