I was a participant at this event. It was a great time for spectators and reenactors a like. The weather was a bit oppressive, but Memorial day tends to do that. Rain or boiling hot. It's interesting watching this first part where everyone is fresh and sharp, by the end of the weekend I remember no one was moving nearly so quickly. ;-)
