The only way to truly be gout free is to completely eliminate the cause for the gout. That is take control of the uric acid by changing your diet. You can begin by avoiding foods that are high in purines, taking vitamins, exercising, using herbs and supplements.

  • I tried cherry juice, steriod shots, and even elimiating all meat and dairy from my diet. None of these things worked. About 6 months ago I started taking a green drink called "Perfect Food" made by Garden of Life. I take one scoop with about 8oz of water every morning and ever since I've been doing this, I haven't had even the remotest sign of gout. If you have gout, go buy a 600g size container of Perfect Food from Garden of Life and I PROMISE you will rid yourself of gout forever!

  • I have had gout for years, and tried just about everything without success.I reduced meat to, minimum once

a week, stopped alcohol altogether.I was having LOTS of fruit and vegetables and my gout was worsening.

Finally I have read something about Excessive fructose increasing uric acid.I experimented reducing my fruit

intake to 2 a day, and bingo within days I saw a dramatic improvement
