the music scared me a little

@febi51 You're sorry... for what exactly? Did you mean "I'm sorry, but I [didn't] fully under..."?

@Beatboxbizboy Use 4-5mm plywood. Luan & oak from 1 of the "Macgyver Stores," Lowe's or Home Depot, is great to build your "rang" skills. Ask a lady for 5 gallon paint sticks. They're kept behind the counter. With a little wink, smile & manners she'll probably just give you some. Yardsticks are exactly the same besides length. Give each stick opposing teardrop shaped wings, center & rubber band 2 together. Have fun! All fly really well. Luan can be brittle. Watch for trees. Oak is prettier.

@pucikam well. Great choice of wood species.
Boomerangs of my video come back all. (scusa me for my bad english...)
Almost all of these are kylies or kill sticks, non-returning. This design came first. A kylie's design gave way to using much heavier, denser wood thus more distance, accuracy, & killing or stunning power. Later, they tweaked the design & found by using gyroscopic precession a lighter, thinner "rang" could be used to down birds. If a missed occurred it returned. No boomerang EVER returns after hitting a target, but that's cool. You just retrieve it with your freshly taken KFC. Make one!
