I met Carlson a few times at his school in Chicago. My son was a student there at the time. Although Carlson hardly spoke a word of English when you got on the mat and he started coaching you, you could understand every "word" he said. He was extremely nice to me and actually made me feel special.

Thank you all for the nice comments. Yes, I produced it myself, just threw it together on Windows Movie Maker. The music is Sigur Ros during the pics and a song from the Braveheart soundtrack during the footage. Calrson had an immense impact on me...honestly, more so on my private life than on my jiu-jitsu. He was a good man and is missed. To tell you the truth, I made this video shortly after his death and haven't really been able to watch it since. It worked a little too well.
