@oldjarhead Not many musicians are as well rounded as Bill Page. Wish I had 1/10 his talent. Lee Mason p.s..... Bill was also a veteran of WWII, where he entertained the troops, a member of 'the greatest generation'

It's a fun performance...but something like a dog walking on his hind legs; they don't do it well but surprising that they do it at all.

This guy's a true inspiration. I've literally become twice as versatile as a jazz clarinetist simply by watching this video and trying to copy his sound. This is what jazz is about! Thank you, Mr. Page.

Bill Page was the most versatile of all the Welk reed men! I believe he is about 84. Hope you are going strong Bill. If anyone should write a book, you should, re your many years with various bands. Best regards to you and family Leebm29
