@wimpylassiter2336 The first electric light bulb was invented in Canada by two Canadians (James Woodward and Matthew Evans). They invented it in 1874 and (eventually) sold the patent to Thomas Edison in 1885. Edison admittedly made improvements on the light bulb but he didn't invent it. Since Canada became an official country in 1867, the invention of the light bulb would be considered Canadian and not from "England" as you claim.
