A fan made adaptation to Philip K. Dick's "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?"
This is scene 2, finally uploaded after 2 years, cause we were working on other projects (i.e. The Huxley Experiment, Evergreen, Northern Lights... CHECK MY CHANNEL !!)
Sorry but there's no unicorn in this "dream sequence" ;-) Instead, we tried to give a vision of what the main character could imagine while dreaming. We've entirely remade Scene 1 and it is coming really soon this time, and it will introduce the main female character, hope you guys will love her ! Thanks for your support and your follow-up. • I loved the soundtrack. who's the composer?

  • @Miras010181 > Kentaro Haneda, a japanese composer... famous for his soundtrack of the animated version of Space Adventure Cobra (1982)

  • Sounds like Lupin the 3rd music! lol (I LOVE Lupin!)

After seeing the first part and this part, I like it so far! I would like something plot heavy to happen though; the Mood Organ is Dialed, and I'm gripping the handles and ready to groove!

  • @Hum0ng0us > the music is from Space Adventure Cobra, which like Lupin the 3rd, is a japanese manga. I read your other comment about Vangelis, i agree about scene 3, but as i answered you before we did not really know where we were going at that time, so i just used the most iconic Vangelis tune from Blade Runner, but it does not fit really the images. About scene 1, i believe THIS time Vangelis' Memories of Green is appropriate and sets the mood right...

  • Where's the plot?

  • the plot's in the eye of the beholder... what did you feel (or not) while watching the various scenes? Are you appealed by that combination of visuals and music? This is here to set a mood "à la Blade Runner"... After it depends if the viewer is sensitive to it, or not

  • Not only have I read the book, but I also wrote a thesis about it in the university. So, no offence but what's insulting here is your comment. I never claimed to make a litteral adaptation from the book, or a remake of the movie. This is simply, and I wrote it many times before, a story "in the mood" of both the book and the movie. It is happening in the same universe, but the characters here have no relationships with Deckard for instance. Try to appreciate it for what is it, with an open mind!

  • May I ask where you are shooting this? You have established a very kewl atmosphere but I'm looking forward to more story.

  • I loved the soundtrack. who's the composer?

  • the "new" scene 1 is now online, please check it out and feel free to leave your comment...

  • i invite you to read the commentary attached to this video, this is a "dream" sequence... not the real world! Same answer for the music, I hear jazz in my dreams, what about you?

Scene 2 featured a mostly abandoned urban space btw. But i hear you what you have to say and i will try to give a more gloomy atmosphere in scene 4 which i'm doing in Bangkok and not Paris anymore, that should help...

  • While I can appreciate that, the book's world is that of a run down, dilapidated, mostly abandoned urban space surrounded by a desolated and near lifeless wilderness. The people inhabiting this world suffer from a range of clinical psychological disorders resulting from the dreariness and social alienation of living upon a massively depopulated and devastated Earth. It's a cyberpunk future.

On the other hand, your videos are fairly glowing by comparison. The music doesn't fit the scenes either.
