"Elton Frank" Pearlstein has some fun performing cover of Elton John's "Crocodile Rock" with friend Irv during a recent concert (live).

(Unfortunately, I can't hit the high notes like I used to, but it's still so much fun to perform).

You can also check out my Channel for other covers of Elton John, The Beatles, Billy Joel, and more!

  • Great!! We love your version! Fantastic piano playing!

  • @SistersGoldenHair Hey thanks! That's very nice. I like your version, too!

  • Could you post a tutorial on the way you play the la's as well as some of the other parts? Im planning on doing a solo version of this for a show soon, and i have the gist of it. I may try playing the La's to get the audience to sing along

  • Sorry, I play by ear and it would be difficult to post a tutorial. I can tell you it's a very easy song to play. I do it in the key of G (for my voice), and the "la la" part is pretty much G, E-minor, C and D. I hope that helps.

  • I read that you can't hit the high notes, anymore! :) Well that is all right, Elton Can't enymore either. But that doesn't detract from his unbelievable talent. Have you tried Tiny Dancer?
