Wait, wasn't she getting a feeding tube in the last scene? Did she pull it out before she left? And if she could sign herself out anytime she wanted, why didn't she do it sooner? Plus, letting her eat in her room without supervision, locking the window from the inside, letting her look at the scale, having a phone in the hallway the patients can use, and allowing her to have safety pins in her room? Did the person who wrote the screenplay do ANY research at all?

This isn't exactly that inaccurate. I was admitted to hospital after attempting suicide and they had plastic and metal butter knives everywhere in the unit. People are so careless these days.

@InFromTheVoid they are put on a high calorie diet to make them gain weight faster. They know how to eat healthy, believe me. But it's difficult to get them to gain the weight they need to in the time they have on " healthier " stuff. And they need to learn that no kind of food is the enemy.
