This is Boston College's final possession and the legendary play. The audio weakens but I believe I hear the Orange Bowl crowd chanting, "...hey hey, goodbye...," before the final snap. Kosar was accepting congratulatory pats on the shoulder prior to the play, then wobbled toward the locker room immediately after the catch.
Doug Flutie is never given enough credit for the length of that heave, 64 yards into a stiff wind.
@ScapularSaves okay, thanks, i just remembering getting home from high school and it was on....what a game, Hurricanes were the team to beat back then too....probably only had that 1 loss to B.C.

@quincee33 : it aired the Friday after Thanksgiving I believe... in fact this next Friday it's a rematch at 3:30 on ABC BC at MIAMI...27 years after. Hey anyone know where I can watch the WHOLE game?

All I can say to that is wow.... That has to be the most impressive upset Miami has ever seen, and Boston has ever enjoyed. I knew how it was going to end, and even I can't believe that 64 yard TD pass. Impressive stuff. Interesting how even today the eagles are barely scooting by with victories in last-play-of-the-game style. haha, very nice upload though.
