great to hear an oldie like this when i was a kid maybe 7-8 y.o.i used to have this on a 78r.p.m.record and played it on a windup gramaphone very tinnie sound but still remember the song well used to crank it up in the old man's shed because the folk's just could'nt listen to it 20 or 30 times in an hour never did get to see the movie our movie theatre was the Astra on Marion Rd Ascot Park where the actor Gary Sweet grew up we used to call it the BUG HOUSE
Yeah, your right of course and I'd rather watch these movies than what they put out today. I'm no prude, but I am getting tired of the noise, sensless killing and filthy language of today's flicks. It gets old - no class! Give me Andy Griffith or The Honeymooners any time!
@TruegrassBoy - Yes the acting was definitely ham, but at least unlike today's movies, they had a plot and ther was still some mystery as to where the love scenes were going. Now it''s 'wham, bam' and not even a 'thank you, mam'! Give me golden days of the movies anyday.
I knew Gene was gonna wallop that guy. hahaha.
