WoF 11/17/08: $100,000 in Hawaii

Go confetti go! Appropriate puzzle for the contestants as well. ;)

Very important gameplay note not included in the video (naturally): the $14,550 was accumulated in Prize Puzzle Round 1 with an $11,000 trip to Central America, so they led throughout the whole game. In Round 3, they spun on the MILLION DOLLAR WEDGE...but missed with an L on the next spin. The blue team quickly found the $10,000 under the correct mystery wedge with 3 M's, then 2 S's, and solved FRESHMAN-YEAR ROOMMATES to devoid the MDW. The red team solved the $3000 tossup and the speed-up round to end up with $8900, making the blue fall just short at $13,800.

If they solved the puzzle, there's no $10,800 for the blue, so they are almost guaranteed the maingame win anyways. Now the question is this: with the MD a possibility, does she spin harder or softer in (additional?) anxiousness and indeed still land on the P?
