There are two theories to how much time to take while preparing for a tournament-winning shot. Bo Burton used to say that the greats, including Mark Roth and Marshall Holman, used to pick up the ball and go, taking little time to set themselves before the shot. Other bowlers like Ernie Schlegel took lots of time to get ready, making sure everything was perfect before beginning the delivery. Carol Gianotti was in the Roth and Holman category, taking little time before starting. Let's see if it pays off for her in the final of the 1998 PWBA Greater Terre Haute Open against Kim Adler. Joined in progress.
Great video. I thought Carol was going to vomit after the 11th. She did not look happy at all.

I have posted footage from your last PWBA win on my youtube page, the 2002 PWBA St Clair Open. If I'm not mistaken, you set all sorts of scoring records there in that event.

I'm a big fan of you. I love your bowling. I used to watch the women's bowling when it was on the air. I am very sorry to hear about the passing of your father.

I was at this event and I know both Gary Sparks and Jeff Newkirk as I went to Vincennes University

Thanks for this posting! This is one of my 2 favorite wins. If you notice at the end I am in tears. This is because it was the anniversary week of the 10th year of my father Gary's passing as well as my 10th title. Somehow the fates were with me here....

Great clip. Great commentary from the poster, as always. Many thanks.
