  • NYPinstripes25----Are you kidding me?? You need to do some research and get on the right side of this fight!

  • y are we judging other countries when we have human trafficking in this country too??

  • The mainstream media spending one minute and nice seconds on the 27 million victims slavery in a quickie wrap-up, "page from my notebook" is one of the reasons why slavery is the single most successful and fastest growing industry in the world.

Couric's one minute report is probably the most many of the viewers have seen on this issue.

  • This is true but the news is so biased. The US told india to shut down human trafficking otherwise it wont do business? US, Uk, europe, japan, hong kong and all the rich nations have thousands of

sex slaves. How can the US have the audacity to imply that it DOESNT?

All the rich nations should end this despicable organisation otherwise it has no right to call itself civillised.

  • India is developing for sure, but THIS IS the sad truth about some parts of the country!

  • Thank you, Katie and the staff at CBS. Sexual violence is everybody's problem. But it's men's responsibility to stop it as men are 99% the perpetrators in trafficking and prostitution. The good men of the world need to take action, instead of hoping the bad men of the world will stop their actions. Ideas at Family Violence Prevention Fund. And, you must persevere, as male detractors do not like being held responsible for theirs and other male's violence. Scott, Seattle, WA

  • She did not report the News, She commented on as if she has some expertise.... She doesn't have degree in social study, her degree is in journalism... It was not even investigative journalism.. Sorry, I do not have the resources to persue bimbo around...

  • Naw.... It is a USA state department list, and usually have political clout... India has 20 or some 24 News channel, and all simply went to ignore the braying... Chinese usually ask Indians as to why do they care much what the west has to say about us... This time Indians really took a clue from Chinese philosophy of "Talk to my Hand" ....

  • Her commentary was about human rafficking and how the U.S could help stop it. Are you saying there is no human trafficking in India? You used the word "supposed". If what she is saying is a lie then Indians just need to hire Jew nuts and drag CBS into court.

  • India media, which is always robust, better thought of ignoring this news.... Perhaps, they knew the faulty of this whole drama... I was waiting for Indian media response, but, nother was covered... They acted as Chinese always did to American government bullshit... They said "talk to my hand." now even Chinese won't wonder as to why indians react to so much western bullshit...
