DragonForce Blender Animation - Through the Fire and Flames

This is a loose recreation of DragonForce's "Through the Fire and Flames" music video. It was created using Blender, an open source 3d modeling/animation program.

This is a short animation that was created as the final project for a computer graphics imaging course. My focus is not in graphic design or computer science, but rather in film. I focused mainly on video and sound editing rather than extremely detailed models.

how long this did take to render? from the look of it, at least 2 hours...

We rendered it in pieces and edited it together on separate software. Yes, it probably took a few hours of rendering, mainly because the instruments had lots of faces and vertices.

I just realized...that microphone looks wrong. kind of like a large, grey phallus that gets thinner towards the base.
