Occupy Boathouse Row! How Antifa Ruined A Nazi Outing in Philadelphia

Leif Ericson Day is Oct. 9, which is also around the weekend that Columbus Day is observed. Since 2007 on or around the Columbus Day Weekend, neo-Nazis come out to Philadelphia's Boathouse Row to hold a "Leif Ericson Day Celebration" at the "Viking Statue" - a statue of Viking explorer Thorfinn Karlsefni. Little press is given to the event, but opposition has been growing more and more with each passing year. However, the Nazis have been losing numbers, especially since their sponsoring organization the Keystone State "Skinheads" has been in disarray since their last appearance in 2009 - which just so happened to be that years Leif Ericson outing and the year they saw their first protest. In 2011, they returned courtesy of organizing by bonehead Anthony James (AJ) Olsen (the one in the video with the megaphone), but antifa came from all over the area, some from as far as Portland to oppose them this year. There was one arrest - on the Nazi side (a minor), and the Nazis were so paranoid that they drove their cars backwards to leave so no one would see their rear license plates.
