I believe this one is dated 1953.
uses 6sc7, 6sl7, 6sn7, 6x5, 6k6 tubes
plus the awesome green eye 6E5.

original mic was a dud so i hooked up a 1/4 inch jack, with the advice from an online friend.
(thanks rojo!)

i will be using the tape for recording.

  • i wonder where i can get one of theses amazing reel to reels. not to use as a guitar amp but for tapes!

  • rad.

  • I have a 210 1B. It plays tapes, but the sound is very soft, could that be a blown tube? THere are 2 plugs on the right side, one has three slots the other only two, which one is input, and is the other an output?

  • I have that model, at least very similar, even recapped it, yet it has an annoying hum problem, which only affects play, not record.

  • I have the exact same R2R. My input is also useless. what do i need to do to the same?

  • That shit is crazy!
